Florida Partnership for Access to Sickle Cell Services (PASS) Program
With the assistance of a grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), a seamless system of care is enhancing the state’s sickle cell disease newborn screening program in Florida’s Title V Agency’s Southeast Region. The Partnership for Access to Sickle Cell Services (PASS) Program began in 2005, and since that time, a multicultural and multidisciplinary Advisory Board reflective of true private and public partnerships between local healthcare agencies, community-based organizations, private foundations, and government agencies was established.
